I measure things for a living, so here is exactly what this site measures about you. It's short because there isn't much.

If you sign up

I keep your email address, when you signed up, the signup wording you agreed to, the page the form came from and the browser information sent with it. I also record when you press the confirmation button in the welcome email, and if you ask me to stop. Nothing is sent to an address that hasn't been confirmed. Vercel handles the form and Supabase stores the signup record. I use it to manage this list and send you new pieces, with your consent. I don't sell the list or add it to my company's marketing. Resend sends the emails from zak@zakfenton.com, including the one welcome message when you sign up; it sees your address and the message and nothing else about you.

You can withdraw your consent at any time. Reply stop to an email, or write to zak@alltoogether.com, including before the first email arrives. I'll stop sending you these emails. You can also ask to see, correct or delete your information, ask for a copy you can move elsewhere, or ask me to restrict its use.

I keep the signup record while you're subscribed. If you ask me to stop, I keep only your address and the date of that request while this list operates, so I can keep you off it. I use that limited record for my legitimate interest in respecting your request. You can object to that use or ask for deletion.

Where it lives: the form is handled by Vercel in its London region, and the record is stored by Supabase in its Frankfurt region, in the EU. Both act as my processors under their standard data processing terms. I'm the person responsible for the list, and I reach it through accounts my company holds.

If you just read

Vercel hosts the site. I use PostHog to count visits, pages and referrals. It is configured without analytics cookies, person profiles, automatic click capture or session recording. Its cookieless counting uses the visitor's IP address and browser information to create an identifier that changes daily. Signing up does not send your email address to that counter.

PostHog is set to anonymise IP addresses on arrival and keeps the counts for as long as its plan allows; Vercel keeps its own request logs for the short period its plan sets. Neither is a decision I make record by record. The basis for that counting is my legitimate interest in knowing whether anyone reads this, separate from your email consent.
